Our ambition is clear: Create an investment fund dedicated to scientific research in Africa.

This fund will provide sustainable financing for high value-added projects for the continent, often overlooked by traditional financing mechanisms. To achieve this objective, we must mobilize significant resources to take advantage of the opportunities offered by financial markets.

FRIA is committed to transparency: 100% of its profits will be donated to this fund.

Volunteer

Volunteer Program

FRIA relies on a dynamic network of volunteer researchers to help implement various activities. This program is a unique opportunity to contribute to a cause of public interest while strengthening your professional skills in a structured and engaging environment.

Selected volunteers will receive free practical training in:
🔹 Scientific article writing
🔹 Scientific project writing
🔹 Fundraising for research
🔹 Research project management

Volunteers will also have access to personalized coaching and mentoring sessions, as well as to the technical resources provided by the Foundation to support them in their missions.

A certificate of participation will be issued at the end of the volunteer commitment, which can be a valuable asset for academic and professional development.

In exchange, volunteers commit to actively supporting the foundation’s work by:
Participation in the organization of activities in awakening camps and science camps
🔹 Helping to organize the Science Discovery and Science Camp activities
🔹 Conducting literature reviews
🔹 Carrying out targeted desk research
🔹 Writing scientific briefs and synthesis documents

The topics covered will be defined based on FRIA’s strategic priorities and will allow volunteers to contribute to meaningful, high-impact work.
